Happy Disney+ Day!
After an extremely successful first two years since Disney+ first aired, we've been treated to a glimpse at the future of Marvel, and what they have in store for us in the next coming few years on the streaming app.
Disney+ has been rolling out brand new announcements and first looks at their upcoming projects, both including in and out of the MCU.
Following the world-dominating MCU shows, Marvel has revealed at least 7 new titles.
Starting off, we got our first proper look at Moon Knight, confirming that the leak of Oscar Isaac's Egyptian-looking superhero suit was in fact real. We got a teaser for Ms. Marvel coming next summer, with Iman Vellani trying to fit into her new life of being a hero. And finally, our first look at She-Hulk. We have yet to get any look at Tatiana's face, but we were given a nice shot of Mark Ruffalo and Tatiana in full hulk skin.
On the animated side, What If...? Season 2 has been confirmed to release next year, picking up exactly where Season 1 ended.
An Echo series starring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez was also announced, and has been described as a 'gift to daredevil fans'.
WandaVision fans can rejoice at the news of Kathryn Hahn returning for Agatha: House Of Harkness, and not forgetting a shot of a severely aged Nick Fury for Secret Invasion.
Disney+ also have revealed 5 animated shows, and although being produced by Marvel Studios, it's unknown as to how they'll fit into the MCU.
X-Men '97 Animated Series will be a follow-on from the iconic X-Men show from the '90s. Spider-Man: Freshman Year, I Am Groot and Ironheart have also been revealed as part of the Disney+ announcements.
Of course, one of my most anticipated announcements, Marvel Zombies. After the intense episode 5 of What If...? that came out earlier this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the Zombie Hunting Avengers story.
