It's been well over a year since Kevin Feige announced the Disney+ Original Show featuring Jeremey Renner and Hailee Steinfeld. If it wasn't for Covid putting a hold on the entire development of the MCU, we would've already had Hawkeye, No Way Home, Multiverse Of Madness and many more other MCU projects, but we won't get there in this article.
On the upside, we've come out the other side of the coronavirus pandemic and finally returning to cinemas for our beloved 2-3 movies a year, but Disney+ original streaming shows have kept us Marvel fans at bay for the time being.
Hawkeye was originally set to premiere last year in 2020, but almost a year later, we'll finally be getting it on November 24th, 2021. Of course with any Marvel release, there will be some very lucky creators/journalists/writers that get an early look at the first couple of episodes.
The embargo for keeping quiet with the episodes has been lifted, so initial reviews and reactions are in. Although we weren't the selected few to preview the show, it doesn't mean we don't get excited reading through tweets. (Marvel/Disney if you see this, add us to your cheeky press list ;))
Jeremy returns his role of Hawkeye on the series set during Christmas time. His main mission is to get home to his family in time for the holidays, but it's not that simple. A face from his past resurfaces, prompting him to team up with a 22-year-old archer named Kate Bishop to unravel a criminal conspiracy.
