Spider-Man No Way Home 2nd Trailer Revealed From Sony!

The trailer opens out on a physically and emotionally drained Peter Parker. He references the spider bite, a never-before-seen part of the Tom Holland Spider-Man ethos. After some casual New York swingin’, Doctor Strange accuses Peter of botching the spell, seen in the teaser trailer released a couple of months ago. After a couple of more shots of the spell, Strange references visitors from ‘every universe’.

After more footage from that damned bridge, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Otto Octavius (yes that is his real name), questions whether Tom Holland is the real Peter Parker, potentially lining up an encounter with other Spider-Men who shall not be named.

Doctor Strange says that we need to send the ‘others’ back but forgets to say the magic word: please. “You’re flying out into the darkness to fight ghosts” states Doc Ock, which is an incredibly curious line which will be over-thought millions of times until the movie comes out. Peter apologizes to Strange for stealing the mysterious block, also seen in the first trailer, and an incredible sequence ensues. Peter fights Steven Strange, Doc Ock, Sandman, the Lizard, Green Goblin, and Electro.

It wouldn't be a Marvel movie if something didn't go wrong now would it? We are blessed with seeing a range of iconic Spidey Villains courtesy of Sony’s past Spider-Man franchises (before the MCU was ever around), including Spider-Man’s Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Spider-Man 2’s Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s Electro (Jamie Foxx).

And then the* scene. Reminiscent of a particular Andrew Garfield, Tom Hollands Spider-Man must defy gravity to save the love of his life, MJ. Is this her death? Is this when Garfield can finally be quick enough to catch the girl, and his glorious entrance to the Prime timeline?

The last scene of the trailer is Doctor Strange stating that they* are starting to come through and he cannot stop them. The they is almost certainly the Sinister 6 (or 5) and this must preface most of the action that was seen in this trailer. Oh my god what a trailer it is.

Now of course, the trailer only gave us 5 of the 6 members of the sinister 6, and for what seems to be a very good reason. There is something about that last character that Marvel and Sony don't want the world knowing about until the film releases on December 17th (15th if you're in the UK)

We've finally got a proper, decent look at the storyline of No Way Home. Up until now with the major leaks, they were just cameo appearances and character reveals. Nothing was released as to actually what was going to happen for the entirety of almost 3 hours.

This trailer has given fans more than enough to feast their 'fan theorying' teeth on for at least a couple more weeks leading up to it's release in just under a months time.
